Eurostar
The
Eurostar is a high speed train and can go up to 186 miles per hour.
It was the first train to connect London, Paris and Brussels. It only
takes three hours from London to Paris, their logo is “breakfast in
London, lunch in Paris”. London to Brussels approximately two hours and
forty minutes. There are three types of seating available on the
Eurostar – premium first class, first class and standard. Eurostar - Breakfast in London and Lunch in Paris
Standard
Standard seating provides food cart service, snacks from the bar or cart
for sale, and an area for children to play in. First Class
First class seating provides a more spacious seating area. First class
customers also receive complimentary snacks, drinks and newspapers. They
also have a brunch menu, an afternoon meal, a selection of wines and a
gourmet meal (gourmet meal is included in the price of the ticket).
Premium First Class
Premium First Class seating receives all the benefits of first class
seating in addition to a complimentary taxi in London or Paris. Premium
First Class also receives more of a variety for meals.
Eurostar trains
run frequently throughout the peak season – as much as one every hour.
The
Eurostar runs twice a week to the French Alps during ski season.
There are also trips to Disneyland Paris when the kids are out of school
